I will be attending the upcoming Motivational Interviewing (7/21/22) facilitated by Racquel Garcia, Trauma-Informed Coaching (7/28/22) facilitated by Tiffany Kuhwede, and Trauma-Informed Supervision facilitated by Racquel Garcia (8/11/22).
Join me on August 4, 2022, from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM MST. I will facilitate Culturally Responsive Care for Helpers: How to Better Serve BIPOC Communities. Culturally responsive care is crucial to the effectiveness of behavioral health services. Culturally competent professionals honor the beliefs and values of all individuals. Understanding systems of oppression and privilege requires a long-term commitment to ensure the equitable care of every client. This training will provide practical applications of equity and cultural competence for helpers.
Don't miss this opportunity to improve your skills as a professional helper. Even if you're a seasoned professional, the field is constantly changing. Maya Angelou once said, "When you know better, you do better." I hope to see you there!
